Dead Tree Digest turns articles you choose to save into a printed magazine mailed to you. Here's exactly what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.

What we collect

Your email address, when you sign up. We use it to send your setup link and the small number of emails the service needs (like asking for a shipping address). We don't send marketing blasts.

The articles you save. When you click the extension's save button, it captures the page you're looking at (the article's text and images) and sends it to your library. This only happens when you click save — the extension never reads, collects, or transmits anything from your browsing otherwise.

Your shipping address, so the magazine can reach your mailbox. It's shared with our print partner (Lulu) for the sole purpose of printing and shipping your issues.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your reading with anyone. We don't track your browsing. Your saved articles are yours: they appear only in your own printed issues and are never shown to other users or used for anything else.

Where it lives

Your library is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Print files are transmitted to Lulu (our print-on-demand partner) when an issue goes to press.

Deleting your data

Email press@mail.deadtreedigest.com and we'll delete your account, your library, and your saved captures. The printed magazines are yours to keep; we can't delete paper.
